As of 2021, there are still hundreds of poorly made PPE products everywhere in the market. Despite being almost two years into the pandemic, there is still not enough transparency when dealing with suppliers and distributors.
Kalari addresses these problems by developing relationships with a number of trusted Canadian manufacturers and distributors who adhere to rigorous national quality standards. This allows our customers to buy directly in smaller quantities at fair prices.
To be allowed on the Kalari site, ALL vendors must provide evidence of the necessary certifications and licensing.
For example, Kalari vendors must provide:
- A copy of the Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL), when applicable
- Natural Product Number (NPN) for alcohol-based items, such as hand sanitizer
- Copies of certifications and testing results for products, when applicable
- Evidence of insurance
- References or a demonstrated track record
All of these checks help to ensure that the products available on Kalari meet the highest quality standards.
